5. Comprehension Skill Lesson – Graphic Organizer
6. Phonics Skill Lessons using the Phonics Library Books to practice & apply the skill
7. Provide discussion/ conversation opportunities using the Wrapping Up Segment 1 & 2 and the responding questions in the Student Anthology
8. Small, flexible group instruction with Leveled Readers + Handbooks as needed
9. Daily instruction in Spelling, Grammar & Writing
10. Assessment (Phonics/ Structural Analysis + Comprehension from Theme Skills Test and the Selection Test)
